It seems as if "golden" was all that was left on the trees this past weekend. It blessed me to have them hang on a bit longer, as our leaves here just aren't showing any color. I suppose I don't have to tell you what "golden" blessings I've experienced as of late. Truly, I'll treasure the memories of this past weekend for a long time.

Hi Cheryl,

I'm away from my Florida home right now, up in Michigan, where (believe it or not) there are still a few rogue leaves that have refused to drop. Gorgeous! I adore autumn.

I'm SO grateful for the gorgeous weather, and to stay at my sister's house while my daughter is here working.

Thanks to all you gals who have chimed in. Kelli asked about the movie Amelia. I always like movies that have some history to them so we enjoyed this one. It wasn't what I'd call an incredible or great movie but was enjoyable.

How wonderful! I remember searching for the perfect wedding dress, and when I found it... what joy. My wedding was one of my parents' and my fondest memories. Such a special day.
