Helen Keller, who had
both sight and hearing taken from her early in life, can teach us much about
the treasure of friendship as well as about focusing on the good in life.
She had this to say:
“When I recollect the treasure of friendship that has been
bestowed upon me, I withdraw all charges against life. If much has been denied
me, much, very much has been given me. So long as the memory of certain beloved
friends lives in my heart I shall say that life is good.”
If we possess the treasure
of good friends, we are rich indeed, aren’t we? I count you, dear blog
readers, among my friends. Thanks for enriching my life!
“I thank my God every
time I remember you.” Philippians 1:3
*Who are you
remembering and thanking God for today?
